Ingredients:

  • 1 (10-12 pound) fully cooked ham

  • 1/2 cup of raw organic honey

  • 1/4 cup of Dijon mustard

  • 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar

  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme

  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried rosemary

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).

  2. Place the ham in a large roasting pan and make shallow cuts all over the surface of the ham.

  3. In a small saucepan, whisk together the raw organic honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, dried thyme, and dried rosemary.

  4. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until well combined and slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.

  5. Brush the honey mixture all over the surface of the ham, making sure to get it into the cuts.

  6. Season the ham with salt and pepper, to taste.

  7. Cover the roasting pan with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.

  8. Remove the foil and continue to bake for an additional 30-45 minutes, or until the ham is heated through and the glaze is caramelized and slightly crispy.

  9. Let the ham rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.

This recipe is a great way to use raw organic honey in a savory dish. The natural sweetness of the honey pairs well with the salty flavor of the ham, creating a delicious and healthy main dish.
