Recipe for Honey Baked Apples with Raw Organic Honey from Palawan.
Ingredients:
4 medium apples (such as Gala, Honeycrisp, or Pink Lady)
4 tablespoons raw organic honey from Palawan
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon allspice
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup raisins
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Wash the apples and slice off the top 1/3 of each apple, removing the core and seeds with a spoon or apple core. Be careful not to cut through the bottom of the apples.
In a small saucepan, heat the raw organic honey from Palawan, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and butter until the butter is melted and the mixture is well combined.
Pour the mixture into a large baking dish, spreading it evenly in the bottom of the dish.
Place the apples, cut side up, in the baking dish, on top of the honey mixture.
Sprinkle the chopped walnuts and raisins over the top of each apple.
Bake the apples for 25 to 30 minutes, or until they are tender and the skin is slightly caramelized.
Remove the apples from the oven and let them cool for 5 minutes.
Serve the honey-baked apples warm, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
Enjoy this delicious and nutritious dessert made with raw organic honey from Palawan! The sweet, warm, and spiced honey mixture pairs perfectly with the tender apples, creating a flavor explosion in every bite.
